Camp Hill by election nears its conclusion

Residents of Camp Hill are casting their votes in the Camp Hill by election today. First indications are that there will be a good turnout helped by the unusually fine weather we have enjoyed today.
The BNP have put a huge effort into retaining this seat, bringing party workers in from across the country. They have also been touring Camp Hill again today with their Lie Lorry, inflicting Slade's "Merry Christmas" on Camp Hill residents - whether they wanted to hear it or not. One wonders if Noddy Holder et al would agree with one of their best known and loved songs being used by the BNP.

The Lie Lorry didn't seem to go down well with residents, nor did their latest leaflets claiming they have represented the people of Camp Hill. "How can they say that", said one resident, "when the local councillor didn't speak at meetings when he went and then just stopped going. What use was that to me?"
